Manama, Aug.25 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh received The International Organization for Children Protection (INOCPT) office director in Bahrain Salman bin Khalid bin Al-Subae and Advisor Khalid Al-Nassar.The Brussels-based INOCPT officials presented a certificate of thanks and appreciation to the ministry in recognition to the strides which have been achieved to promote child protection in the KingdomThey discussed issues related to child protection as well as the healthcare services being provided by the ministry to citizens of all age categories. According to latest statistics, Bahrain has achieved full coverage (100%) for primary healthcare services for children.

 Al-Saleh commended the role of the International Organization for Children Protection (INOCPT), stressing the ministry’s commitment to the partnership with all national and international non-governmental organizations. . INOCPT office director in Bahrain Salman bin Khalid bin Al-Subae stressed the importance of consolidating coordination to build efficient partnership which would contribute to bolstering programmes benefiting children. Al-Saleh invited the two INOCPT officials to attend the upcoming events and functions which would be organized by the Ministry of Health to focus on child protection.
