TheIsa Award for Services to Humanity was established in 2009 by His Majesty KingHamad bin Isa Al Khalifa as a gift from Bahrain to the world. It aims toinspire young people in different parts of the world to look for innovativeways to change the world and play their role in service to humanity.
TheIsa Award is named after His Highness the Late Amir of Bahrain, Shaikh Isa binSalman Al Khalifa, may God rest his soul in peace, and is granted every twoyears to either individuals or organizations who have been selected by an expertpanel of jurists. The USD 1 million cash prize is presented by His Majesty KingHamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the winners, in addition to a pure gold medal and ahigh-level certificate of appreciation.
