iGA adds 14 new eServices added to "MyGov app"

The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) announced that 14 new eServices have been added to the MyGov app, available through the eGovernment App Store at bahrain.bh/apps. This brings the total number to 111 eServices and features offered since the app’s launch in February 2025.

Ali Abdulaziz Janahi, Deputy Chief Executive of Electronic Transformation at the iGA, said that the update builds on the iGA’s continuous efforts to enhance the MyGov app and expand its offerings, aiming to strengthen its role as a national digital platform that complements the National Portal bahrain.bh and provides citizens and residents with convenient access to a wide range of government services in one place.

Among the new additions is the Personal Bill Payment service, introduced in cooperation with the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA). It allows users with multiple accounts to complete their payments in one step.

To further support humanitarian and charitable initiatives, several new features were introduced, including the "Fael Khier" service in partnership with the Ministry of Interior. The app now also offers zakat and donation payments, along with mosque and Ramadan majlis locations, prayer times, Qibla direction, daily moon phases, and both Gregorian and Hijri calendars available on the app’s main page. These updates were introduced in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

Janahi highlighted that, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior, users can now update their mobile number and email address directly through their MyGov app profile.

To make digital health services more accessible, the app allows users to view their vaccination records, report missing vaccination records, and download vaccination documents in collaboration with Primary Healthcare Centres, as well as view athletes’ health certificates in cooperation with government hospitals. These additions come alongside a wide range of other features already available on the platform.

Since its launch in February 2025 and up to October of the same year, MyGov has been downloaded more than 640,000 times, reflecting strong public engagement and growing reliance on the platform for completing government transactions.

Citizens and residents seeking more information about the new services and features can call the Government Services Contact Centre on 80008001 or submit inquiries, suggestions and feedback through the National Suggestions & Complaints System (Tawasul).
