The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), in cooperation with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the Ministry of Interior, has launched an awareness pavilion at Marassi Galleria from October 27 to 31 as part of the "Don’t Make It Easy for Them" campaign.
The pavilion aims to raise cyber security awareness and promote safe digital practices through interactive activities, practical guidance and presentations. It includes a "Cyber Clinic" offering advice on protecting devices and accounts, an "Ask Amina" section where visitors can consult an artificial intelligence assistant, and activities for children and parents.
Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of the NCSC, thanked the two entities for their cooperation, emphasising the importance of joint efforts to raise awareness of cyber threats and electronic fraud.
For his part, Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamood Al Khalifa, Director of the Consumer and Communications Directorate at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, highlighted the importance of helping users protect their personal data and digital accounts and recognise fraud attempts.
Brigadier Staff Ahmed Saad Al Rumaihi, Director-General of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, said the Ministry of Interior’s participation supports efforts to combat cybercrime and educate the public about suspicious messages and links, protecting personal and banking information, and keeping children safe online.
The pavilion supports national efforts to promote cyber security awareness and strengthen protection against electronic fraud.
