The Ministry of Youth Affairs has received the GCC Digital Government Award for its "Al Mustashar" (The Adviser) service, recognising its innovative use of digital solutions to engage young people in addressing government challenges and improving public services.
General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister, presented the award to the ministry at a ceremony honouring the winners.
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, said the award reflects confidence in Bahraini youth and their ability to contribute innovative ideas to government development and national progress.
Launched under the directives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, the service invites young people to propose solutions to challenges facing government ministries. The proposals are referred to the relevant authorities for consideration, with those officially adopted announced publicly.
The minister said the recognition would support further development of the service and strengthen youth participation in government decision-making and digital transformation.
