As part of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s presidency of the 46th session of the Gulf Cooperation Council for 2026, Dana Imad Hamzah, Assistant Undersecretary for Sustainable Development at the Ministry of Sustainable Development, chaired the 14th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council Sustainable Development Working Group (2016–2030), held via video conference.

The meeting discussed shared priorities related to the Sustainable Development Goals, reviewed efforts to align national plans with the United Nations 2030 Agenda, and exchanged best practices and successful experiences, including means to enhance joint cooperation in sustainable development.
