King Hamad Global Center opens registration for second cohort of "King Hamad Leadership in Coexistence Program"

Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Center for Coexistence and Tolerance, emphasised the Center’s commitment to continuing its investment in preparing new generations of young leaders to promote a culture of tolerance and understanding among peoples, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

This came on the occasion of the announcement by the King Hamad Global Center for Coexistence and Tolerance of the opening of registration for the second cohort of the "King Hamad Leadership in Coexistence Program," in cooperation with United Kingdom based institutions "Faith in Leadership" and the "1928 Institute" of the University of Oxford. The program contributes to advancing shared human values and transferring leading global expertise to empower youth from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states as ambassadors for spreading the message of peace.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, added that the launch of the second cohort reflects the tangible success of the first edition of the program, and demonstrates the Center’s ongoing commitment to investing in promising youth talents. Through partnerships with prestigious international academic institutions, the program equips participants with advanced leadership and knowledge skills via interactive training sessions, seminars led by international experts, practical applications in dialogue and peaceful conflict resolution, and the promotion of intercultural dialogue and coexistence, qualifying them to play impactful roles in their communities and professional fields.

Coinciding with the International Day of Peace, the King Hamad Global Center for Coexistence and Tolerance called on Bahraini and GCC youth to register for the second cohort of the "King Hamad Leadership in Coexistence Program" during the period from September 22 to November 03, through the Center’s official website: khgc.org.bh. The program offers educational and training opportunities that reinforce the values of peace and mutual understanding, further highlighting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s role as a vibrant civilisational platform for coexistence, dialogue, and rapprochement among cultures and religions.
