Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, approved several regulatory decisions for the private education sector. These included licensing new private schools, an educational centre, early education institutions, and expanding educational services in several private institutions, as well as transferring ownership of some licenses.
Key school-related decisions:
- Licensing the establishment of Al Mawahib British Private School.
- Licensing the addition of a secondary stage at Nadeen Private School.
Educational centre decisions:
-Licensing the establishment of Kunooz Al Arabia Private Educational Centre.
Early education institutions (nurseries and kindergartens) decisions:
-Licensing the establishment of Start Smart Nursery and Kindergarten.
-Licensing the establishment of Rising Stars Nursery and Kindergarten.
-Licensing the establishment of Sama Nursery.
-Licensing the establishment of Children Without Borders Nursery.
-Licensing the establishment of Flamingo Kindergarten.
-Licensing the establishment of The Bahraini British Preschool.
Also issued was a decision to transfer the ownership of Vanguard Preschool’s license.
The Education Minister highlighted that the improved licensing process has significantly accelerated issuing educational licenses to many national institutions. This supports expanding quality educational services for all age groups across Bahrain’s regions, which have growing demands for education. The ministry will continue licensing institutions that meet the regulatory requirements according to the approved rules and regulations.
