Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and CEO of the Economic Development Board, took part in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Councils Meeting as Chair of the SDG 10 Council on Reducing Inequality, held during the SDGs in Action Forum at the 2025 World Governments Summit in Dubai, UAE.
Bahrain’s leadership of this council reflects its commitment to reducing inequalities and fostering social inclusion, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The meeting, chaired by Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, UAE Minister of Government Development and Future, was the first in a series planned over the next three years, bringing together ministers from various countries to advance SDG implementation.
In her remarks, Minister Al Khulaif highlighted Bahrain’s national policies on integrating vulnerable groups, promoting equal opportunities, women’s empowerment, youth development, and financial inclusion. She reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to closing gaps, strengthening partnerships, and investing in human capital to accelerate SDG progress.
