The Paris Union Assembly is the governing body of WIPO’s oldest treaty, the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property (1883), which shapes global standards on patents, trademarks, and industrial designs. This historic milestone positions Bahrain at the forefront of international intellectual property policymaking and reflects growing recognition of its leadership on the multilateral stage.
