Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah AlKhalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), inaugurated theSecond Bahrain Psychiatry Conference.

The conference is organised by Government Hospitals inpartnership with Education Plus, on October 10-11.

Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah highlightedBahrain’s commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare and developing thesector in line with the country’s comprehensive development process under theleadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support ofHis Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince andPrime Minister.

Dr. Shaima Bucheery, Head of Medical Services at thePsychiatric Hospital and Chairperson of the conference, said the conference providesa platform for exchanging expertise and enhancing mental healthcare, featuringexperts from Bahrain, the GCC, Egypt, and the UK.
