The Ministry of Social Development, represented by the Directorate of Support for Civil Organisations, held an introductory workshop on its new electronic system for civil organisation services at the Ministry, with the participation of representatives of civil society organisations and Atyaf for Technical Solutions, which developed the system.
The workshop aimed to introduce the system’s electronic services and procedures, review its key features and explain how to use them, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to streamline procedures, enhance service efficiency and advance digital transformation.
The workshop was attended by Ziad Adel Darwish, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development.
The workshop included presentations on the system’s components and electronic services related to the work of civil organisations, as well as explanations of how to access and use the available services and procedures.
Darwish said the development of electronic services for civil organisations reflects the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing procedural efficiency and facilitating organisations’ access to services. He noted the Ministry’s keenness to benefit from users’ feedback and views in developing the system to meet their needs and operational requirements.
Representatives of civil society organisations also raised questions and offered comments and suggestions during the workshop, providing an opportunity to identify users’ needs and benefit from their views in developing the electronic services.
The workshop is part of the Ministry of Social Development’s efforts to continue digital transformation and modernise the services provided to civil organisations, contributing to simplifying procedures, enhancing institutional efficiency and supporting the role of civil organisations in society.
