The Ministry of Social Development, in collaboration with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), has announced the launch of the physiotherapy service for children with disabilities and financial service attestations through the national portal of the Kingdom, bahrain.bh.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support persons with disabilities by providing an integrated package of social services to eligible individuals.

The ministry highlighted that the service enables beneficiaries to submit their applications electronically to issue and print disability allowance and social security attestations, in addition to applying for physiotherapy services for children with disabilities via the national portal using the eKey. Beneficiaries can also verify the authenticity of financial attestations by scanning the QR Code.

It stated that these eServices contribute to advancing digital transformation and enhancing the services of the social security and financial support sector in Bahrain, while also improving user experience by ensuring fast and easy access to services.

The ministry underscored its commitment to developing its services following best global practices and strengthening partnerships with government and private entities to achieve development for persons with disabilities.
