The Government Hospitals signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Batelco, a Beyon Group company, to provide cloud-based unified communication aimed at enhancing technical infrastructure efficiency and supporting digital transformation in healthcare services.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al Jalahma, Chief Executive Officer of Government Hospitals, and Maitham Abdullah, CEO of Batelco.

Dr. Al Jalahma said the partnership aligns with the strategy of the hospitals to develop administrative and technical systems through advanced digital solutions that improve service quality and coordination across departments.

On his part, Abdullah reaffirmed Batelco’s commitment to supporting vital sectors in Bahrain by providing state-of-the-art communication technologies that enhance operational efficiency and connectivity.

The two sides also discussed future collaboration opportunities in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and smart healthcare applications.
