Lulwa bint Saleh Al Awadhi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), received the 2025 Sustainability Shield from Professor Youssef Abdulghaffar Al Abbasi, Chairman of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, following her selection among the Top 100 Sustainability Champions in Middle East and North Africa 2025 (third edition).

This selection recognises her impactful efforts in advancing the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, promoting sustainability at both institutional and community levels, and strengthening the link between sustainability, women’s empowerment, and comprehensive development, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Kindom’s national vision.

The list was officially announced during a virtual ceremony marking the launch of the Top 100 Sustainability Champions in MENA 2025 and the accompanying publication, alongside the unveiling of the Global Sustainability Index, with the participation of regional leaders and sustainability experts.
