Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeekabint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of theSupreme Council for Women (SCW), the Bahrain Diabetes and Obesity Conference(BDOC) will begin on November 20.

The two-day event, organised by the Bahrain Diabetes Society(BDS) and Educationplus, will feature key discussions, lectures, workshops, andpanel sessions addressing health and quality of life, diabetes and women,obesity, heart health, mental health, and community health.

The event will also include the unveiling of a book topromote awareness of women’s health, particularly diabetes during pregnancy.

Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah AlKhalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) and President of theBahrain Diabetes Society, expressed appreciation to HRH Princess Sabeeka bintIbrahim for her continued support of medical conferences aimed at advancingthis vital sector.
