Dr. Mariam Athbi Al Jalahma, Chief Executive Officer of Government Hospitals, inaugurated the 11th edition of the DLS Bahrain International Dental Conference and Exhibition (DLS11 Bahrain), organised by Government Hospitals in cooperation with BDA Conferences and Exhibitions at the Gulf Hotel Convention Centre in Manama.
Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Government Hospitals, was present.
The event brings together experts, specialists, researchers and representatives of scientific associations, universities and professional institutions from the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and around the world.
The 11th edition builds on the conference's development since its launch in 2016. Continued support has contributed to its growth and established its position as an annual scientific gathering for dental professionals, experts, institutions and scientific and professional associations.
This year's conference features extensive scientific and professional participation and partnerships with several associations, universities and specialised institutions, including the Bahrain Medical Society, Saudi Dental Society, Kuwait Dental Association and Oman Dental Society, as well as associations specialising in oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral medicine and restorative dentistry.
Academic participants include the University of Bahrain, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University and Riyadh Elm University in Saudi Arabia.
The conference also features participation from specialised international organisations, conferences and exhibitions, including AEEDC Dubai, EDEX Egypt and IDEX Istanbul, alongside the Egyptian Dental Syndicate, the Jordanian Dental Association and several international scientific and professional institutions.
