The Ministry of Education has launched its redesigned website as part of its strategic plan to strengthen digital transformation, sustain capacity development, improve performance quality, and enhance communication with the community in line with aspirations for a more integrated and effective educational system.
Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, emphasised that the launch of the new website is part of the ministry’s continuous efforts to advance digital transformation in line with government priorities, through the adoption of modern technologies to build a comprehensive digital system aimed at simplifying procedures, upgrading service quality, and facilitating access. He commended the efforts of officials and specialists from across the ministry who contributed to the design.
The minister also commended the efforts of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology, chaired by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, in driving digital transformation, consolidating its foundations, and enhancing the efficiency of government services to meet citizens’ aspirations.
The new website offers integrated e-services for different education audiences, including easy access for students, parents, and educational institutions to the EduSIS system, which provides class schedules, exam timetables, grades, daily attendance statistics, appeals on grades, as well as exam results for intermediate and secondary students, guidance on choosing secondary education pathways, and applications for school transportation.
Additional services include applications for transfers between private schools, issuing affidavits, attesting private school students’ certificates, the scholarships and grants e-service, and follow up of students studying abroad through cultural attachés, which serve as vital bridges for academic and cultural communication.
The website also features a comprehensive directory of educational institutions, providing detailed information on public and private schools and early education institutions, with location links via GPS. It allows users to contact the customer service centre, submit and track requests electronically, access the ministry’s mobile applications, view media content related to the ministry’s activities, and register for summer clubs held during the end-of-year school holiday.
